Double Lung Transplant Recipient Plays Professional Hockey
Trevor Umlah had a tryout with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
"I personally was thrilled by how I was treated by the Jackals off the ice and by the fact that I was not given any special treatment on the ice. " said Umlah upon arriving home to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. "I did amazingly well and it all brought a lot of attention to organ and tissue donation awareness and to Cystic Fibrosis for which I am thrilled."
